Like all children, I was naturally curious, always eager to explore and push boundaries. However, as I grew older, I felt pressured to be serious and avoid mistakes, leading me to become quiet and reserved. Despite this, my curiosity persisted, tempered by diligence.
My journey with Yoga began during university while studying Psychology. The practice of Hatha Yoga resonated deeply, rekindling my sense of curiosity and playfulness. Through Yoga, I embraced imperfections, laughed at failures, and rediscovered the joy of exploration. PLAY became my mantra, bringing liveliness, happiness, and freedom back into my life.
Adulthood brought its own demands—work, deadlines, and endless responsibilities. I pushed myself hard, believing rest was a luxury I couldn’t afford. Eventually, the relentless pace led to burnout while balancing a family, a full-time business, and further studies. This challenging period introduced me to Restorative Yoga, Yoga Nidra and Ayurveda principles. I learned the invaluable lesson of PAUSE—slowing down, taking time for self-care, and understanding that you cannot pour from an empty cup.
My personal journey has been one of continuous learning and transformation. Diagnosed with scoliosis at 17, Yoga brought physical balance and revealed its broader benefits. After moving from Europe to the Middle East and then to Canada, I felt lost and exhausted. Rediscovering Yoga reignited my inspiration, leading me to become a Yoga teacher over a decade ago. With 1000 hours of training, including as an Ayurveda Yoga Specialist, I now help others find balance and well-being.
As I enter midlife, I embrace its unique challenges and use my life skills to serve others. My passion lies in empowering people to realize their potential for self-healing through Yoga and Ayurveda, especially premenopausal and menopausal women.
In my classes, expect a blend of mindfulness, exploration, and gentle challenges, all infused with Ayurvedic self-care principles. Together, we’ll dive into body awareness, release tensions, and integrate ancient wisdom into our modern lives. With the spirit of PLAY and the wisdom of PAUSE, let's embark on this journey to vibrant living.
Andrijana is an excellent yoga teacher. A
warm person who makes you feel safe and willing to try new things in which you succeed most of the times! Creative and energizing teacher willing to bring fun during the most challenging poses making you to persist and be proud of yourself at the end. The meditation at the end makes me feel relaxed and happy. She teaches you how to listen to your body and therefore how far to go in a pose if you have injuries or weaknesses and not to feel bad about yourself if you're unable to do the pose as she does. I highly recommend her to everyone who wants to do yoga!

In person or virtual- yoga with Andrijana is always a lovely experience! It is, at once, energizing and relaxing. The breakfast club is truly my favourite way to start the day. My mat and I would follow her anywhere!
