I know what it feels like to be pulled in a thousand directions and to long for a pause. That’s why I created Play and Pause Yoga - a space where you can breathe, reset, and come back home to yourself.
Like many of us, I grew up believing that adulthood meant being serious, careful, and striving for perfection. In chasing that ideal, I grew quiet, diligent, and cautious - and slowly lost touch with the spark of playfulness that once defined me.
Yoga changed that. When I first discovered it during my university years, it reignited curiosity and joy. I began to embrace movement, laughter, and imperfection as part of growth. Play became my mantra, and life felt lighter, more alive.
But with time, responsibilities piled up - work, family, deadlines, expectations. I found myself running on autopilot again, chasing distractions to “rest” yet never feeling truly restored. That’s when I learned the difference between distraction and a real pause.
Distractions have their place. They can help us cope in the moment. But the kind of pause that truly nourishes you - the pause that leaves you not where you started but more whole, more empowered - comes from connection with yourself. From listening inward. From honoring your thoughts, your needs, your dreams, and realizing you already have everything you need within.
Through my own journey, I’ve learned that pause is not an absence of doing, but a return to being. And I am still learning every day. What I know for certain is that these tools - yoga, meditation, Ayurveda, rest - have changed me, and I want to share them with you.
My work is rooted in both study and lived experience. I hold a degree in Psychology, which taught me how our thoughts, emotions, and habits shape our daily lives. I have completed 1,000 hours of training in Yoga and Ayurveda, learning how ancient wisdom can meet modern science. For more than a decade, I’ve guided people through classes, workshops, and retreats, and worked one-on-one through Ayurvedic massage to support the nervous system and restore balance.
But beyond credentials, my deepest qualification is the path I’ve walked myself: from stress and autopilot into moments of real pause. From seeking distractions to learning how to listen inward. From believing I lacked something, to discovering that wholeness is/was always there.
Yoga here isn’t just exercise. It’s a holistic practice - a way to reconnect with yourself. In every class and session, I weave together Yoga, Ayurveda, psychology, and neuroscience to create experiences that are both grounding and transformative.
We work with the body to reach the mind.
We pause to release stress.
We return to wholeness - again and again.
This is not about striving for perfection. It’s about remembering that you are enough, just as you are.

Whether you join a morning yoga class, a meditation journey, a signature session, or simply take inspiration from what I share, you are welcome here. Together, we’ll explore the joy of playfulness and the beauty of pause - so you can meet life with more focus, ease, and connection to yourself.
Whenever I have time, I go for a hike. My favourite spot is Hardy Lake in Muskoka, Ontario, Canada.
I love to dance, and sometimes I will put my headphones on, turn the music as loud as I can stand, and dance " like no one is watching" :-)
